Neethlingshof Estate Gewurztraminer is an aromatic white wine from Stellenbosch, South Africa, celebrated for its perfumed character and vibrant intensity, with an alcohol content of 13.5% vol.

Vinification

The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve the floral and fruit-driven aromatics. The winemaking focuses on freshness and varietal purity, resulting in a crisp, expressive Gewurztraminer.

Tasting notes

Pale lemon with green reflections, the nose offers pronounced aromas of lychee, rose petals, Turkish delight, jasmine, and honeysuckle. The palate is off-dry to medium-bodied with vibrant lychee and tropical fruit flavours, finishing zesty and lingering.

Food pairing

Pairs beautifully with spicy and aromatic dishes such as Thai or Indonesian curries, duck curry with coconut milk, sushi, smoked chicken, and smoked salmon. Serve chilled at 8–10°C.
