This edition showcases the influence of French oak and the elegance of Cognac cask finishing, offering a unique take on Mount Gay’s traditional rum style. Distilled from molasses and aged first in American oak, the rum is then finished in ex-Cognac casks sourced from the renowned region of Cognac, France, adding layers of complexity and finesse.

The nose reveals delicate aromas of dried fruit, vanilla and toasted oak, with hints of floral spice and orange peel. On the palate, it delivers a harmonious blend of ripe apricot, honeyed citrus and soft tannins, balanced by subtle oak and a whisper of nutmeg. This golden-hued rum finishes long and smooth, with lingering notes of fruit and spice that reflect its elegant Cognac influence.
