Montecalvo Aglianico is a vibrant and characterful red wine from the chalky clay hills of Benevento in Campania, southern Italy. Made entirely from Aglianico, one of southern Italy's most noble and ancient grape varieties, it is crafted by Montecalvo, a large cooperative of around 1,000 members founded in 1960, with 1,800 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards across the region.
