Monkey Shoulder is a blended malt Scotch whisky created to be smooth, approachable and cocktail‑friendly. It’s made from a combination of single malts from Speyside distilleries, traditionally including Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie, all matured in ex‑bourbon casks to give it a warm, vanilla‑forward profile. The name comes from an old term for a temporary shoulder strain maltmen used to get from turning barley by hand.

Its aroma shows soft vanilla, honey, light oak and a touch of citrus. On the palate, it offers a smooth, creamy texture with notes of toffee, malt sweetness, gentle spice and a hint of orange zest. The finish is warm, mellow and lightly sweet, making it an easy sipper and one of the most versatile Scotch whiskies for mixing.
