Menade Nosso is their flagship natural wine — organic, vegan-friendly, and made with minimal intervention to let the grape and the land speak for themselves.

Unlike conventional Rueda whites that prioritise clean, neutral fruit, Nosso embraces wild yeast fermentation and extended lees ageing to deliver a wine of real personality and depth. No sulphur is added during vinification, making this a genuinely natural wine that still manages to be beautifully balanced and utterly drinkable. Vineyard & Production

Verdejo grapes are hand-harvested from selected parcels on stony clay and limestone soils in Rueda. Fermentation takes place using wild yeasts in stainless steel at 18–24°C, with malolactic fermentation occurring spontaneously. The wine is then gently racked and spends around three months on lees before bottling. No sulphur is added at any stage of the vinification process. The estate is certified organic.

Tasting Notes

Gentle floral and fresh grape aromas open on the nose, with inviting creamy vanilla notes. The palate has a lovely, rounded texture packed with distinctive leesy, bready, and floral character — complex, satisfying, and refreshingly different from conventional whites.

Perfect Pairings

A wonderfully versatile food wine, perfect with grilled white fish, seafood tapas, goat's cheese, roasted vegetables, mushroom risotto, soft rind cheeses, or a simple charcuterie board. Also excellent as an aperitif for those who appreciate natural wine.
