Methuselah, also known as Matusalem, is a VORS (Very Old Rare Sherry) Cream, aged for an average of 30 years in American oak casks following the traditional criaderas and Solera system. This long ageing results in a perfectly balanced wine, combining elegance, sweetness, and complexity.

Tasting notes

After 30 years in oak, Methuselah displays an intense mahogany colour. On the nose, it reveals deep aromas of nuts, raisins, spices, and old wood. The palate is smooth, sweet, and velvety, with a long-lasting finish. The blend of sweet Pedro Ximénez and the gentle bitterness from the oak produces a subtle bittersweet note that adds depth and character.

Serve slightly chilled in a small wine glass. Methuselah is ideal to enjoy on its own as a contemplative wine or paired with desserts, dried fruits, or creamy cheeses.
