This is the entry level malt in a new range from Macallan callend the 1824 Masters Series Range. The Rare cask is made from sixteen different sherry cask styles with the majority being first fill sherry. The selecetion process for this bottling were so strict that less than 1% of the casks aging were selected to go inot the Rare cask. The flavour is rich and smooth with vanilla, raisin, chocolate citrus notes and spice.
