Vineyard & Production

Sourced from vineyards across Morgon's six 'climates': Les Charmes, Corcelette, Côte du Py, Douby, Les Grands Cras and Les Micouds. The underlying soil is granite, with a distinctive schist known as 'roche pourrie' that gives Morgon its characteristic richness. The wine is fermented for 12 to 20 days in vats, allowing the Gamay grapes to express their full potential while maintaining freshness and structure.

Tasting Notes

This generous Morgon opens with aromas of ripe red and black fruit, layered with notes of cherry, blackberry and subtle spice. The palate is rich and supple, showing plenty of fruit character with earthy undertones and a hearty texture. The finish is long and satisfying, with fine tannins and balanced acidity.
