Ledaig 10 Year Old is a bold, peated single malt from the Isle of Mull, offering a smoky, maritime character with layers of spice, fruit and creamy malt.

Crafted at the Tobermory Distillery, Ledaig (pronounced "Le-chig") is the distillery’s peated line, contrasting with its unpeated Tobermory expressions. This 10-year-old whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46.3% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration, preserving its full-bodied texture and flavour.

The nose opens with sweet briny smokiness, mingled with notes of creosote, wax polish, mint chocolate and floral seaside aromas. There’s a playful hint of mild antiseptic and medicinal peat, balanced by underlying sweetness. On the palate, it delivers rich peaty smoke, infused with spicy pepper, dried fruit and velvety vanilla, alongside a malty creaminess that rounds out the intensity. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of burnt vegetation, seaweed, ash and bitter chocolate, offering a rugged island profile.

Ledaig 10 is often praised for its distinctive island character, offering a smoky alternative to Islay malts with a slightly sweeter and more herbal edge. It’s ideal for peat lovers seeking something off the beaten path, and pairs well with bold cheeses or smoked meats.
