Vineyard & Production

Sourced from Frankland River, Western Australia. The 2021 vintage was exceptional with rainfall falling at just the right times, producing Cabernet with exceptional tannin and colour. Made in a clay cement ovoid tank where lees are continuously forced upward by an internal vortex, giving the wine voluptuousness, purity, and texture. Zero sulphur used throughout winemaking with only minimal amount at bottling. No added tannin, acid, or animal fining products.

Tasting Notes

Rich and full-bodied with firm tannins and good acidity. The nose has notes of dark fruit, blackberry, and black cherry, along with hints of spice and tobacco. On the palate, flavours of ripe fruit, chocolate, and coffee. The finish is long and satisfying with good balance of tannins and acidity. Drinking window 2025-2028.
