La Vie en Rose is a delicately crafted rose from the sun-drenched vineyards of Puicheric in the Languedoc, southern France. With its pale hue, subtle brush of red fruits and a whisper of spice, it delivers a supremely balanced and food-friendly style. Viticulture

Sourced from top-quality grapes in Puicheric, the vines average 25 years of age and grow at 150 metres above sea level. Here, they benefit from abundant sunshine yet remain protected from strong winds, allowing grapes to ripen slowly and develop a fresh, aromatic character.

Winemaking

Grapes are selected from the coolest vineyard plots to ensure natural acidity is preserved. Harvest takes place in the early morning during the coolest part of the day, followed by direct pressing in airbag presses. After cold settling, fermentation proceeds at low temperatures for around two weeks. The wine is then quickly separated from gross lees and kept on fine lees in stainless steel until bottling to retain maximum freshness and fruit expression.

Tasting Notes

Fresh, elegant and pale in colour, showing delicate notes of strawberry and wild raspberry alongside bright acidity. A beautifully dry and summery style, crisp, refined and perfectly balanced.
