Production

Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted in the KWV The Mentors cellar to ensure only the finest fruit is used. Fermentation is conducted separately for each variety, with careful monitoring to preserve aromatics and structure. Following the first selection, wines are transferred to French oak barrels for initial maturation. After 12 months, only the most promising lots continue for an additional six months of barrel ageing before blending. The final blend is matured for a total of 18 months in French oak barrels, 70% of which are first-fill, creating a wine with integrated tannins, polished texture, and exceptional complexity.
