Kingsbarn Distillery has distilled, matured and bottled this single malt whisky. This single malt from the family owned distillery in the Kingdom of Fife has been distilled using Fife barley and matured in ex oloroso American oak sherry butts that were used previously for maturing sherry. These casks were chosen for their gentle oak influence and sherry rich sweetness to compliment the fruit character of the Kingsbarns spirits. A perfect balance between the spirit and wood has certainly been achieved.

The nose is notes of treacle, sultanas and a touch of cinnamon and dark chocolate. The palate showcases sweet tinned pineapple up front, orange and cake spice. The finish is dried apricot and a hint of roasted hazelnut on the finish.
