This heavily peated expression is bottled at a formidable 58.4% ABV, promising a bold and complex journey for the senses. Matured primarily in 90% Bourbon casks with a touch of 10% Sherry, it delivers a unique balance of smoke and sweetness. The initial aroma presents creamy butterscotch and caramel notes, which gracefully evolve into the intriguing scent of rye bread and tea leaf. The palate then introduces a familiar oiliness and pronounced smokiness, beautifully complemented by rich notes of Iberico ham and brandy snaps. The finish is gentle yet lasting, unfolding with refreshing notes of lemon sherbet and honeycomb, while the signature peat smoke carries through to the very end.
