This 2023 release of the Kilkerran 8 year old single malt cask strength has been exclusively matured in sherry casks. Sweet and smoky aromas with peat smoke influences and notes of marshmallows with smoked ham. The palate has notes of sea salt and fishing nets with a sweetness like candied apples and toffee. The finish remains sweet peat like with burnt candy notes.
