Matured exclusively in bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength, this limited annual release continues the distillery’s reputation for producing whisky with depth, texture and a distinctive coastal influence. The nose opens with soft butterscotch and custard creams, followed by apple butter and a subtle savoury note of white miso. Layers of cream sponge and poached pear add a delicate sweetness. The palate carries a creamy texture with flavours of shortbread crust and smooth caramel chocolate, developing into brighter notes of gooseberries and white grapes alongside hints of cigar box smoke and sandalwood. The finish reveals green peppercorn and honeydew melon, joined by a gentle ashy character that lingers with satisfying warmth.
