Named after one of Islay’s most picturesque beaches, Machir Bay reflects the distillery’s commitment to traditional methods and local provenance. It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry butts, resulting in a whisky that balances classic Islay smokiness with layers of sweetness and complexity. Kilchoman, one of Scotland’s few farm distilleries, grows and malts its own barley, ensuring full traceability from field to bottle.
