“Tündérmese” means fairy tale, but this wine is far from Grimm – a beautifully textured, luscious late harvest blend with vibrant acidity that keeps the sweetness perfectly balanced.

Meet the Producer:
A tiny, family-owned estate in Tokaj, steeped in history, producing wines that reflect the unique volcanic soils and centuries-old traditions of the region.

Production:
Grapes are sourced from the Betsek, Szilvás, and Danczka vineyards (average vine age 35 years). Hand-harvested from the second week of November into small containers. After a day of skin maceration, the grapes are gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel, followed by three months’ aging in tank. Fining with bentonite is applied prior to bottling.

Tasting Notes:
Rich, intense mandarin and honeyed notes suggest botrytis influence. The palate is textured, with lively acidity preventing the sweetness from becoming cloying. Very drinkable, with a long, persistent finish.

Delicious on its own, or paired with tropical fruit desserts or fruity Middle Eastern savoury dishes.
