A vibrant and approachable Cape Blend from Kanonkop, crimson red in colour with aromas of raspberries, dark cherries, black plums, cinnamon, and all spice. Supple and elegant tannins are supported by fresh acidity, complementing an explosion of red and black fruit flavours with a hint of chocolate, lingering on the finish.

Vineyard & Terroir
Produced and bottled entirely at Kanonkop. The cooler growing conditions of the vintage promote elegance and softer tannins, making the wine approachable from an earlier age.

Winemaking
Fermented in open top concrete fermenters at 28°C with mechanical punch downs every 2 hours for 3–5 days. Malolactic fermentation was completed, followed by 12 months maturation in 2nd and 3rd fill 225L French Nevers oak barrels.
