A rich and inviting red blend from Kaapzicht, combining Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. Deep purple in colour, with youthful aromas of sweet perfume, wild dark berries, sweet spice, and musk. The palate is lush, supple, and juicy, with bold red fruit, kirsch, and sour cherry, framed by fresh acidity, integrated oak, and soft tannins.

Vineyard & Terroir
Grapes sourced from the Bottelary Hills, historically used as an outpost during the 1600s on the trek from Cape Town to Stellenbosch.

Winemaking
Grapes were destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with two pump-overs per day for gentle extraction. After malolactic fermentation, the wine was matured for 18 months in French oak.
