Having previously swapped stout beer barrels with friends in a local craft brewery, they looked to experiment with another craft beer style.

After careful exploration they settled on an IPA. And so, once again, they swapped barrels and matured Jameson in their seasoned barrels.

Their curiosity paid off. Jameson's signature smoothness was still there, but rubbing shoulders with IPA introduced light hints of hops, fresh citrus and floral notes.

On the nose we get floral, herbal hops, grapefruit citrus notes with subtle orchard fruits, complemented by wood shavings and a little nuttiness. On the palate it is hops and light citrus with sweet herbal notes and delicate spicy tones. Rounding to a finish of lingering fresh fruit and hops give way to grains of barley and a signature smooth finish.
