Crafted by Piccadilly Distilleries in the village of Indri, Haryana, this single malt takes its name from the Sanskrit word “Agneya,” meaning “belonging to fire.” The whisky embodies the quiet strength and clarity of flame, not its chaos, delivering a spirit that is both powerful and poised. Produced using traditional Indian six-row barley grown sustainably in Rajasthan, the whisky reflects a deep connection to its terroir and heritage.

On the nose, Indri Agneya reveals delicate aromas of chocolate and vanilla, layered with a gentle spice and subtle notes of dried apple and apricot. The palate opens with a burst of tropical fruits including mango, banana and melon, followed by rich toffee and a whisper of warming spice. A light smokiness, derived from Scottish peat, weaves through the experience, adding depth without overpowering the fruit-forward character. The finish is long and balanced, leaving behind a trace of dried peat smoke and earthy undertones that linger with finesse.
