The Valdadige DOC wine region, the Adige valley, is part of the Alto Adige-Trentino region. The Pinot Grigio vine (Pinot Gris) in particular finds excellent growing conditions here in the shelter of the surrounding Alpine peaks. Cool nights and mild daytime temperatures during the growing season ensure slow ripening of the grapes and excellent development of the aromas in the berries. The careful selection of the ripest grapes at harvest, cool fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks are the last of the measures aimed at absolute quality before the wine is bottled. Il Casato Pinot Grigio is a complex, intense and fruity white wine from the Adige Valley with potential for enjoyment.
