Iichiko Silhouette Shochu is a delicately aromatic honkaku shochu made from 100% barley, offering a smooth and versatile expression of Japan’s native spirit.

Distilled at the family-run Sanwa Shurui distillery in Oita Prefecture on Kyushu, this shochu reflects over 500 years of traditional craftsmanship. It is produced using two-row barley and fermented with koji, then distilled under low pressure to preserve its subtle character. The result is a clear, crisp spirit with a gentle aroma of lemon zest, lychee, and ripe peach.

On the palate, it reveals a soft sweetness layered with almond, orange blossom, and a hint of thyme, finishing with a barley-forward earthiness and a whisper of cinnamon.
