Heaven on Earth is an indulgent sweet wine made from Muscat d’Alexandrie grapes using the traditional “Vin de Paille” method. The grapes are dried on a bed of organic Rooibos tea, concentrating sugars and flavours to create a luscious, full-bodied dessert wine. The wine offers abundant aromas of apricot, honey and Rooibos, carried through to a rich and sumptuous palate.

Meet the producer

Stellar Organics, founded in 2000 by the Rossouw brothers, is one of South Africa’s largest organic wine producers and the leading ethical wine brand in the UK. The winery is committed to Fair for Life certification, organic viticulture, and social responsibility, using methods such as employing Indian Runner ducks to naturally control pests. Stellar also leads the world in no added sulphur wines, preserving the purest expression of the vineyard’s terroir.

Production

Grapes are carefully harvested and dried on organic Rooibos mats to intensify flavour and sugar concentration. Fermentation is slow and controlled, preserving the delicate aromatics. The wine is bottled ready to drink, showcasing the purity and balance achieved through sustainable, hands-on viticulture.

Tasting notes

Light honey in colour, with fragrant aromas of apricot, honey and Rooibos. On the palate, it is rich and luscious, carrying the fruity and floral notes through to a long, satisfying finish.

Ideal with fruit tarts, crème brûlée, soft cheeses such as Brie or Camembert, or simply enjoyed as a decadent dessert on its own.
