Meet the Producer

Grant Burge is one of the Barossa Valley’s most respected names, with a heritage rooted in five generations of South Australian grape growing. The estate is known for combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary precision, producing wines that celebrate the Barossa’s unique landscape and long winemaking history.

Production

Grapes are harvested from select Barossa vineyards and fermented at controlled temperatures to retain aromatics and fruit clarity. Gentle extraction techniques build colour and structure without harshness. The wine is then matured in a combination of French and American oak, adding subtle spice, roundness and complexity while allowing the fruit to remain the star.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in colour, the wine opens with aromas of blackberry, plum, black cherry and hints of vanilla, pepper and cocoa. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, offering ripe dark fruit, soft tannins and touches of spice and mocha. The finish is smooth, warming and satisfyingly long.
