Bottled at cask strength, it delivers a bold, uncompromising character while still retaining the hallmark Glenfarclas balance of rich fruit, malt depth and clean Highland structure. It’s a whisky made for those who appreciate strength, authenticity and the raw expression of sherry‑matured malt.

The nose is immediately robust, with dark toffee, dried fruit, roasted nuts and a touch of oak char, lifted by hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate it is full‑bodied and fiery in the best way, showing layers of rich malt, treacle, sultana, cocoa and warming spice, all intensified by the high strength. Water opens it beautifully, revealing softer notes of honey, fruitcake and gentle sherry sweetness. The finish is long, warming and deeply satisfying, leaving lingering flavours of dried fruit, oak, spice and dark caramel.
