The nose opens with dark chocolate, treacle and roasted coffee, followed by dried figs, sultanas and polished oak. Hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and orange oil add warmth and lift. The palate is full bodied and velvety, delivering layers of rich fruitcake, molasses, black cherries and cocoa, supported by leathery depth and sweet spice. Subtle notes of espresso, walnut and charred oak build towards a long, resonant finish with lingering sherry richness, gentle tannins and a final touch of dark fruit and spice.
