The alternative finish in Guyanese demarara rum barrels gives aromas of cooked sugar, maritime sea spray and tropical fruits. The palate is rich and exotic with notes of molasses and tropical fruits of coconut, banana and sweet peach that lead to warming spice and maritime lingering finish.
