Bodegas Hidalgo-La Gitana Brandy Solera Fabuloso is a traditional Sherry Brandy from the Jerez region of Spain. Made from distilled grape spirits, the brandy is aged in American oak butts that previously held Sherry wines. Using the Solera system, younger brandies are continuously blended with older ones, producing a smooth, harmonious spirit with remarkable depth and consistency.

Bodegas Hidalgo-La Gitana, based in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, has a long heritage of producing fine Sherry and Sherry-based spirits. The winery follows time-honoured methods, combining careful selection of grape distillates with centuries-old aging techniques in the Solera system.

Production

Grapes are distilled into high-quality spirits, then aged in American oak casks that have previously contained Sherry. Fractional blending through the Solera system ensures a consistent character across vintages while allowing complexity and richness to develop naturally over time.

Full-bodied and rich, the Brandy Solera Fabuloso presents smooth, clean aromas of wood, with nuanced hints of vanilla and walnuts. On the palate, it is balanced, harmonious, and elegant, with a lingering, refined finish.
