Vineyard & Production

Sourced from stony vineyard sites in the Wairau Valley (40%) and the cooler Awatere Valley in Marlborough. The 2023 vintage benefited from high soil moisture, strong canopy growth, and temperatures just above the long-term average, extending the growing season for great flavour development. Dry weather from veraison through harvest resulted in low disease pressure and clean fruit. Individual vineyard parcels were harvested and immediately pressed to capture freshness. Fermentation was conducted at cool temperatures with selected yeast strains, then wines were left on lees and stirred to gain richness and complexity before blending and bottling.
