Quady Wines specialises in dessert wines and has built a worldwide reputation for producing elegant and expressive sweet wines. Founded by Andrew Quady, the winery’s expertise spans Portuguese varietals, Muscats, and inventive dessert wines.

Vineyard
The Black Muscat grapes are sourced from well-drained, alluvial soils in California. Originally destined for sacramental wine, these grapes were recognised for their exceptional ripeness and character.

Winemaking
The grapes are crushed, chilled, and macerated to extract delicate aromas and flavours. Fermentation is arrested with neutral grape brandy to preserve the fresh, ripe fruit character. The wine is then aged for three months in small French oak barrels, enhancing its aromatic complexity and texture.

Tasting Notes
Brilliant crimson-purple in colour, Elysium offers aromas of ripe berries, rose petals, strawberries, and lychee. Vibrant acidity balances the sweetness beautifully, making the wine refreshingly expressive and elegant.

Food Pairing
Perfect with desserts, fruit tarts, soft cheeses, or enjoyed on its own as a refreshing sweet wine.
