Distillery & Production

Produced at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, one of the most awarded distilleries in the world. Eagle Rare has been produced at this historic site since 1989, when it was refined into the smoother, 90-proof, 10-year-old expression that has become a favourite today. Made using Mash Bill #1 and aged for a full 10 years in new charred oak barrels. Bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) to preserve the full character while maintaining approachability.

Tasting Notes

The nose is complex with aromas of toffee, hints of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather, and oak. The taste is bold, dry, and delicate with notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa. The finish is dry and lingering with warming oak character.
