This wine is made from 50-year-old Pinot Noir vines that are grown on flint-based soils in the Sancerre appellation of the Loire Valley. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The wine is bottled unfiltered. Aromas of red fruits, spices and toasted oak. The palate shows ripe red fruits, earth and minerality.
