Domaine de la Baume is a family-run estate in southern France dedicated to sustainable viticulture, careful vineyard management, and minimal intervention in the cellar to create expressive, terroir-driven wines.

Production

Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with extended skin contact in stainless steel and terracotta amphorae to develop structure, tannin, and complex aromatic layers. The wine is matured on its lees to enhance mouthfeel and depth, with no filtration or fining applied before bottling.

Tasting notes

Amber-orange in colour with a luminous glow, the nose offers aromas of dried apricot, orange zest, bruised apple, and hints of wild herbs. The palate is textured and full-bodied, combining juicy orchard fruit, citrus peel, and a gentle tannic grip, with a long, spicy, and mineral finish.

Pairs well with roasted poultry, autumnal vegetable dishes, charcuterie, and mildly spiced cuisine.
