Conde José is a Chilean winery dedicated to crafting varietal wines with elegance and balance. Their Reserva Privada range focuses on selecting the best parcels of each vineyard to produce wines with depth, concentration, and a refined sense of place.

Production

Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted before undergoing controlled fermentation in stainless steel and French oak vessels. Post-fermentation maceration and aging in French oak barrels for several months add complexity, structure, and subtle oak integration.

Tasting notes

The wine exhibits a deep ruby colour with purple hues. The nose is filled with ripe dark fruits, blackcurrant, plum, and hints of spice and chocolate. On the palate, it is smooth and balanced, with medium-plus body, polished tannins, and a persistent, fruity finish.
