Clynelish 14 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is a coastal Highland dram known for its waxy texture, subtle peat smoke and citrus-driven complexity.

Distilled at the Clynelish Distillery in Brora, Scotland, this 14-year-old single malt is matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and refill American oak casks. It serves as the flagship expression of the distillery and is widely appreciated for its distinctive character and role in Diageo’s blending portfolio, particularly in Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve.

On the nose, it opens with fresh citrus, delicate florals and a touch of brine, underpinned by honey and beeswax. A few drops of water reveal waxy oiliness and dried tropical fruits, along with a faint rubbery note reminiscent of new boots. The palate is creamy and medium-bodied, offering citrus zest, sea salt and light smoke, with hints of gentle spice and sweet malt. The finish is slightly dry and lingering, marked by peppery warmth and a briny touch.
