In the heart of every bottle of Cihuatan Cinabrio lies the Sleeping Woman, Mayan goddess and guardian of the Cihuatan valley. Legend has it that the Sleeping Woman, guardian goddess of the Cihuatan valley, would intercede on behalf of the people of Cihuatan so that Kinich Ahau would energize the valley with his warmth. His symbols were two hummingbirds.

A rich and complex rum with aromas of candied fruit, wood and sugar cane. On the palate it is pistachios, fresh herbs and plums while the finish brings notes of caramel, orange zest and woody notes.

The Cinabrio has rested and matured for 12 years in American Oak and ex-Bourbon barrels in El Paisnal, San Salvador, El Salvador.
