Chateau Lalande is made up from 55% Cabernet, 40% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc and is perfectly situated between Chateaux Talbot and Lagrange (classified in 1855 as fourth and third growths respectively).

This wine possesses all the richness and power that you should expect from a classed Saint-Julien estate, but at half the price. Textbook pencil lead, tea chest nose with a well structured palate of intense cassis fruit and fine grained tannins.
