Château des Jaume has a long tradition of producing fortified wines in Roussillon, combining the region’s sun-drenched climate with precise winemaking techniques. Their Cru Maury wines are designed to express both the power and elegance of Grenache, while respecting the unique terroir of the estate.

Production

Hand-harvested grapes are partially dried to concentrate sugars before fermentation. The wine undergoes a controlled fortification process and is aged in oak barrels, allowing integration of fruit, spice, and tannins. Extended maturation in barrel adds depth, subtle toasted notes, and complexity to the wine.

Tasting notes

The wine shows a deep ruby to garnet colour. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of red and black berries, dried fruits, vanilla, and subtle spice. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with rich, concentrated fruit, integrated oak, and a long, warming finish.
