Banyuls Vin Doux Naturel is a rich, luscious dessert wine from the terraced vineyards of Domaine de Bila-Haut. Planted on old mica-schist soils from the Primary era, the Grenache grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness. The resulting wine is opulent yet refined, balancing concentrated solar fruit with fine, silky tannins. Aromas of black fruits and red berries are complemented by subtle notes of cocoa, while the palate is generous, persistent, and richly sweet.

M. Chapoutier is a pioneering family-owned estate with a deep respect for terroir and tradition. Domaine de Bila-Haut produces wines from carefully tended vineyards on steep terraces, combining meticulous vineyard management with age-old vinification techniques to express the full potential of the Grenache grape.

Production

Grapes are destemmed and crushed before undergoing long maceration. Fortification with alcohol helps extract aromas and tannins, creating a naturally sweet, structured wine.
