The Catena Mailbag has deep concentrated dark fruit aromas that carry delicate floral notes on top with minor vanilla essences. The body is rich, full and luscious on the palate with notes of concentrated black cherry and dark berried fruits with some sweet spices and tobacco tannins. It carries a good balance of crisp acidity and flinty minerality with a good quality long finish.

For over four generations the Catena family has grown vines in the foothills of the Andes mountains. Catena malbec is sourced from the family's historic vines that sit at the high altitudes in Mendoza.

Food Pairing:
A good match for grilled meats, fish and vegetables with a tomato sauce.
