Casa Silva is Chile’s oldest family‑run winery, with five generations dedicated to exploring and expressing the unique terroirs of Colchagua. Their Los Lingues estate, nestled against the Andes, is renowned for producing some of the country’s most distinctive Carmenère. Casa Silva’s philosophy blends tradition with innovation, resulting in wines of purity, elegance and a deep sense of place.

Production

Grapes are hand‑picked from low‑yielding old vines and sorted berry by berry to ensure only the finest fruit is used. Fermentation takes place in small tanks with gentle extraction to preserve finesse and aromatic complexity. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for extended periods, allowing its layers of fruit, spice and mineral character to integrate seamlessly into a polished, harmonious whole.

Deep, concentrated and beautifully aromatic, Altura opens with black cherry, cassis, plum and hints of violet, cocoa and sweet spice.
