Vineyard & Production

Grapes are grown at 600 metres above sea level in the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior, planted on schist soils in either vertical "vinha ao alto" rows or terraced "patamares". The wide diurnal temperature range allows slow ripening, producing fruit with excellent flavour intensity while retaining natural acidity. The 2023 vintage experienced careful vineyard management and optimal harvest timing. After hand-harvesting, the grapes were gently crushed and destemmed. The must was settled and racked off its gross lees before undergoing fermentation at controlled temperatures between 16–18ºC for approximately 20 days. Post-fermentation, the wine was matured in stainless steel for five months to preserve its bright fruit character, followed by careful fining and filtration prior to bottling.

Tasting Notes

This vibrant white wine displays a lemon yellow colour with golden hints. The nose is complex, featuring white stone and tropical fruits, delicate citrus, floral notes and subtle minerality. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with crisp pear notes and a long, elegant finish.
