The Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Cask Strength 2025 Edition is a limited release that showcases the distillery’s signature unpeated Islay style at its most intense and expressive.

This annual bottling is matured in a combination of first-fill, second-fill, and refill Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at its natural cask strength of 56.4% ABV. Unchill-filtered and with no added colour, it offers a pure and uncompromised expression of Bunnahabhain’s coastal spirit. The whisky pours a deep gold and opens with aromas of golden raisins, apricots, and toasted nuts, lifted by a delicate floral note. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with flavours of dried fruit, caramel, and a touch of sea salt, all wrapped in a velvety sherry sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of spice, oak, and maritime character. This 2025 edition leans slightly more into its coastal DNA than previous releases, offering a structured and balanced dram that remains true to the distillery’s elegant, unpeated house style.
