Vineyard & Winemaking

Grapes for the Monteagrelo Malbec come from 25-year-old vines planted at 3,083 feet above sea level in Mendoza’s renowned Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco wine regions. The vineyards are carefully hand-harvested, and fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures of 25–27°C. 80% of the wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, while the remainder preserves fresh, vibrant fruit flavours. The wine is bottled without filtration or fining, ensuring the true essence of the terroir is captured.

Tasting Profile

On the nose, this Argentine Malbec displays bright violet aromas and ripe plum and cherry fruits, enhanced by subtle hints of leather, spice, liquorice, and violets. The palate is rich and layered, combining mineral, fruit, and savoury notes with balanced acidity, culminating in a long, elegant finish.
