Meet the producer

Established in 1954 as the San Isidro Cooperative, Bodegas Latué is located in Villanueva de Alcardete, La Mancha. Over the decades, the winery has grown to 600 grower members cultivating 6,200 hectares of vines, with a significant proportion farmed organically. The estate combines traditional care with modern winemaking technology to produce wines that are true expressions of their terroir. Winemaking is led by Jorge Pradillo, who ensures that each wine reflects the character of the region and grape variety.

Production

Grapes are carefully harvested from clay-limestone soils in the warm, sunny La Mancha region. Fermentation is carried out to preserve the bright red fruit character, followed by gentle oak ageing to integrate flavours and enhance texture.

Tasting notes

Fresh aromas of ripe red fruit lead to a palate of crunchy red berries and black cherry, complemented by soft, ripe tannins and a touch of toasty oak. The result is smooth, medium-bodied, and fruit-forward, with a lingering finish.
