Bodegas La Horra is a modern winery located in Ribera del Duero. The grapes for Corimbo are sourced from vineyards in La Horra and Roa (Burgos) with an average vine age of around 20 years. Hand-picked in 16 kg crates, the fruit is carefully sorted at the winery. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in a combination of wooden and stainless-steel vats, with a maceration period of approximately 18 days. The wine is then aged for 16 months in barrels composed of 80% French oak and 20% American oak.

The estate focuses on producing expressive, aromatic, and fruit-forward wines with freshness and elegance, reflecting the character of Ribera del Duero.

Tasting Notes
Corimbo displays a deep picota cherry colour with a dark red rim. The nose is expressive, showing red and black fruits—particularly cherry and blackberry—alongside mineral notes, aromatic herbs, and fine spices. Subtle hints of wet earth, pine forests after rain, and fresh pistachio add complexity.

On the palate, the wine is broad and voluminous, with fine, pleasant tannins. Red fruit flavours dominate, complemented by delicate oak notes and a lingering sensation of fresh sweetness, creating a balanced and harmonious finish.
