Beyerskloof Faith is a masterful Cape blend of Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, celebrating the richness of South Africa’s heritage grape, Pinotage, alongside the elegance of classic Bordeaux varieties. This wine is a testament to the dedication of winemaker Beyers Truter and the exceptional terroir of Stellenbosch, resulting in a powerful, yet balanced, expression of the region.

Vineyard & Terroir
The grapes are sourced from prime Stellenbosch vineyards, benefiting from well-timed rainfall and careful vineyard management to ensure even ripening and optimum flavour development. The soils and climate of the region contribute to the wine’s depth, structure, and concentration.

Winemaking & Ageing
Hand-harvested at peak ripeness, the grapes are fermented in open casks with gentle cap punching to extract rich colour and complex flavours. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures for 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels, enhancing its structure, spice complexity, and subtle cedar notes. Only the finest barrels are selected for the Faith bottling.

Tasting Notes
A deep, intense red, Beyerskloof Faith opens with upfront dark fruit and cassis aromas, layered with spice and cedar from new oak. On the palate, it is rich, structured, and complex, with hints of dark chocolate and a long, smooth finish. The blend composition is approximately 34% Pinotage, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 33% Merlot.

Food Pairing
Pairs wonderfully with grilled or roasted red meats, braised dishes, game, and mature cheeses.
