Bella Modella embodies a thoroughly contemporary approach, producing stylish, great-value still wines and Prosecco. Their Modella Prosecco Rosé is the perfect example: beautifully presented, delicately frothy and fruit-filled, it captures the essence of modern Italian sparkling wine.

Viticulture

The vineyards are rooted in calcareous clay soils enriched with marl, sand, lapilli and lava slag – remnants of the ancient volcanic complex of the Alban Hills. This diverse terroir provides both structure and minerality to the fruit.

Winemaking

A combination of manual and mechanical harvesting ensures optimal grape quality. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place without maceration, using selected yeasts at controlled temperatures below 20 °C. The wine is stored in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, carefully protected with nitrogen to prevent oxidation. It is then cold-stabilised and bottled under pressure via an isobaric filler, preserving its fine sparkle.

Tasting profile

A pale, elegant rosé pink with a refined bouquet of acacia blossom. The palate is dry, well-balanced, and effortlessly quaffable, with floral notes and a touch of citrus fruit.

Food pairings

Excellent as an aperitif, with starters, risottos and fish-based first courses. It also pairs beautifully with fresh cheeses, seasonal vegetables and delicate white meats.
